Frequently Asked Questions

Got questions?
We have answers.

Everything you need to know about BraveBloom Labs, our products, shipping, returns, and more.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping times depend on which product you order. Activity books ship from Amazon and typically arrive within 3 to 5 business days. Hero Cards ship from our fulfillment partner and arrive within 5 to 7 business days.

You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information when your order ships.

Why do I receive separate deliveries?

The activity books are fulfilled by Amazon and the Hero Cards are fulfilled by our print-on-demand partner. This means you will receive two separate shipments if you order both.

We are a small operation working toward unified fulfillment as BraveBloom Labs grows. Thank you for being here early and for your patience. Every order is handled with care by partners we trust. Tim, Dad and Founder, BraveBloom Labs
How much does shipping cost?

Activity books ship through Amazon at standard Amazon shipping rates. Hero Cards shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location. Shipping is displayed before you complete your order.

Do you ship outside the United States?

Currently we ship to the United States only. We are planning to expand to Canada and the United Kingdom as our fulfillment model grows.

What ages is BraveBloom Labs designed for?

BraveBloom Labs is designed for children ages 7 to 14. The sweet spot is ages 8 to 12, a critical stage where identity, confidence, and creative expression are rapidly developing.

Children on the younger end of the range may benefit from more parent participation. Children ages 10 and up can often complete activities independently.

Where should we start?

Start with the Hero Identity Activity. It is where every hero begins. Your child creates their hero name, chooses their powers, and designs their personal symbol. It is the foundation the whole system is built on.

Once they have completed the Hero Identity Activity, move to the Hero Shield Activity to build and declare their hero symbol. Then collect the Hero Cards to find which heroes feel just like them.

What is the difference between the Hero Identity Activity and the Hero Shield Activity?

They are designed to work in sequence:

  • Hero Identity Activity is about discovery. Your child designs who their hero is, including a name, character, powers, and personal symbol.
  • Hero Shield Activity is about declaration. Your child takes everything they discovered and builds a physical shield that represents their strengths, values, and brave goals, then activates it with a declaration of bravery.

Identity first, then activation.

Do parents do this with their child or does the child do it alone?

Both work, but the system is designed to be done together. Parent and child, side by side.

The conversations that happen while your child picks their powers, designs their symbol, and builds their shield are the whole point. You will learn things about how your child sees themselves that you might not have known.

Children can also complete the activities independently, especially older children ages 10 and up.

Which hero should my child start with?

The Hero Identity Activity helps your child find their own match through the Hero Match selection system inside the workbook. Here is a quick guide based on personality:

  • The Spark, Fire, Courage — brave, runs toward hard things
  • The Flow, Water, Calm — quiet, thoughtful, finds strength in stillness
  • The Breaker, Lightning, Change — always moving, loves shaking things up
  • The Grower, Earth, Growth — steady, patient, plays the long game
  • The Guardian, Light, Protection — looks out for others, deeply caring
  • The Dreamer, Cosmic, Vision — imaginative, big-picture thinker
  • The Breeze, Air, Movement — free spirit, brings energy everywhere
  • The Becoming, Evolution, Possibility — in the middle of changing, not yet who they will be, and that is exactly where the magic happens

Most children find one or two that feel just like them.

What are the Hero Cards?

The Hero Cards are a set of 8 collectible identity cards, one for each of the eight elemental heroes. Every card features the hero's identity, core life lesson, power set, hero declaration, and an identity affirmation directly addressed to your child.

They are designed to be held, carried, and returned to. Something your child keeps as a reminder of who they are and who they are becoming.

Where can I buy the Hero Cards?

The Hero Cards are exclusive to BraveBloom Labs and are not available on Amazon or anywhere else. You can order them directly at bravebloomlabs.com/products/hero-cards.

How long do Hero Cards take to arrive?

Hero Cards are printed on demand by our fulfillment partner and ship within 5 to 7 business days of your order. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking when they ship.

What size are the Hero Cards?

The Hero Cards are standard collectible card size, 2.5 by 3.5 inches, the same size as Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, and other trading cards. They fit all standard card sleeves.
